Finland bunnies vs American trash pandas
We’ve spent so much time talking about biking in America, but Mika has been living in Finland so I thought it was about time we finally talked about that. It should come as no surprise that the bike riding is pretty great.
But that’s not the really interesting part of this story. Honestly, my favorite part is the discussion about the bunnies. Apparently Finland is lousy with them and they are not your typically small fuzz balls. These guys are very big and they move in a very odd way. You’ll have to listen to get Mika’s description because he sums it up beautifully.
It’s only fitting that Mika loves the bunnies because there they are considered a nuisance animal. Basically, folks in Finland are not too fond of foo-foo. The reason why it’s fitting is because Mika is a fan of squirrels, racoons, and opossums.
He thinks people hate opossums the least. I think people hate them the most. What do you think? CLICK HERE to vote in the poll posted on the Downtown East Social Ride Facebook group page.
Okay, that’s all I have the energy to write tonight because Saturday I conducted the first Green Book ride, recorded with Mika, went to work, edited this podcast, scheduled it to post.
I’m off to sleep… for a week.
DING, DING!
